Jolene Van Vugt is first CMRC Women's Canadian Motocross National Champion.
She is best known for the first woman to backflip a full-sized dirt bike and a holder of multiple Guinness World Records. A native of Ontario, Canada, Jolene Van Vugt is married to Jim De Champ, an American TV personality known for Nitro Circus.

Though Baby Pastrana was born this past Labor Day, she's clearly grown out of her newborn phase, and her beautiful features are already developing.

I want to give our child the same opportunity and I hope they play traditional sports, and great if they want to ride a skateboard and BMX and moto. We agree on a lot of things about how we'll raise our child, but the main thing is, whatever floats their boat. What else are you looking forward to teaching your kids? Travis always looked up to Mat Hoffman, but his middle name is T and Travis doesn't like obscure, funky names.During recent tryouts in California of the "slingshot," a new winch mechanism that enables performers on wheels to achieve high speed in little time going into a ramp, Van Vugt shattered her forehead, nose, eye socket, right arm and jaw.This week, she'll undergo full reconstruction of her orbital socket so that she can fully see again out of her left eye.She also competed in many prestigious motocross events, such as the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National and the Trans Can Canadian Amateur Grand National Championship.From 2006 Van Vugt has been part of the television show Nitro Circus, originally a mini series broadcast by Fuel TV that became a full series broadcast by MTV in 2009.The injuries required multiple reconstructive surgeries to her face and were expected to take months of recovery before she could perform again.
